We understand that attending a full-time, in-person midwifery program can be challenging, especially when life circumstances make leaving home impractical. For those who dream of working in maternal and child health but need a more flexible path, we offer a comprehensive suite of online courses designed to provide the didactic training necessary for midwifery.
Our program consists of up to three courses per quarter, totaling 25 courses. You can choose a pace that works for your schedule—whether that means taking all three courses each quarter, progressing more slowly with fewer courses, or taking a break as needed. Each quarter, you’ll join an active cohort of students who will move through the program together, fostering a sense of community and support.
Courses are entirely online, with weekly assignments and exams submitted digitally. Some classes include live teleconferences with instructors and fellow students, while others feature recorded lectures, readings, and self-study modules. No matter the course format, instructors are readily available to answer questions via email, and all work is hand-graded to ensure personalized feedback. This flexible structure allows you to continue your education from anywhere while building a meaningful home.
