Welcome to GoMidwife. We are a midwifery school, honoring the rich tradition of low-tech, high-touch heritage midwifery practices. Our approach combines in-depth academic learning with hands-on apprenticeship, equipping midwives with the knowledge and skills needed to support women through every stage of the childbearing years. Rooted in both home and heart, we are dedicated to serving women in our communities while also reaching out globally to support others. As a global network, we are committed to training the next generation of midwives, doulas, and childbirth educators to inspire meaningful change, amplify women’s voices, and restore birth as a sacred, woman-centered rite of passage.

At GoMidwife, our mission is to equip midwives to carry this mantle with integrity and purpose. Our work is to guide women back to the original intent for childbirth—a process made safe and holy by its design—and to raise up those who will continue this calling with strength, compassion, and understanding.

GoMidwife and Modules of Midwifery is more than just a school or certification. It is a passing down of knowledge, wisdom, education, passion, and deep love. Being a student has molded and shaped who I am as an individual and how I serve the people around me, whether they are pregnant or not. This information and the ministry of being “with” is needed now more than ever. God is raising up midwives, physical and spiritual. If you feel Him prompting you, respond, and I promise, none of it will be wasted.

The ReTeach Breech course hosted through GoMidwife helped me comprehend breech as a variation of normal birth. It equipped me with knowledge and understanding, as well as hands on training that built my confidence to handle both surprise and known breech birthing. I highly recommend taking this course AT LEAST once. It's completely worth the investment! It's changing the way birth workers are equipped to handle normal birth, and giving women better care for their unique birthing needs because of it.

As birth worker’s we need safe space to debrief, heal, and rest. I didn’t know what to expect when I signed up to go to a retreat with Gomidwife, but what I got was:
Deep fellowship with like minded women in the beautiful setting of Montana, hiking with scenery unmatched, amazing food (Amy don’t play when it comes to hospitality), worship, and a little peace for my soul. I feel so fortunate to have found the GoMidwife Modules of Midwifery Program! I’m a busy mom of two, currently living abroad. Before I discovered this program, I thought my dream of pursuing a midwifery path was going to need to wait until I was back on US soil. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that I could get started with my midwifery education from afar. The GoMidwife program has been amazing! I’m able to take the online courses at my own pace, which works well with my current stage of life. I feel good knowing I’m not just “waiting around,” and that I’m actually moving towards my goal!
